Why It Matters

We’re building a global network of storytellers, community builders, and changemakers who are redefining what aging looks and feels like. When older adults share their lived experiences, they don’t just preserve memory—they shift the narrative and shape the future.

Our Approach

To meaningfully center older adults in design, we begin with relationships grounded in care, consistency, and mutual respect. This project is rooted in collaboration—between facilitators, participants, and community stakeholders.

We believe community is not a backdrop—it’s an active partner. That means:

  • Showing up consistently

  • Listening deeply

  • Honoring lived experience not just through documentation, but through shared authorship

A Model for Connection

Our partnership with DOROT reflects this philosophy. Their long-standing trust with older adults helped open the door for authentic connection. Participants weren’t just subjects—they were co-creators, decision-makers, and narrators of their own stories.

This is the kind of relationship we’re working to build—one project, one story, one conversation at a time.

Join Us

Whether you’re joining a local storytelling workshop, exploring a self-guided photo project, or designing programs in your own community, you’ll become part of a growing and supportive network.

As this work evolves—through exhibitions, toolkits, or future collaborations—we invite organizations, artists, designers, and communities to join us in building a practice where connection is the foundation for change.
